CL's Doug DeLoach recommends: The first concerts of the ASO Delta Classical Series in 2022 are scheduled for Jan. 13 and 15 with guest conductor Kazuki Yamada leading the ASO in the overture to Mozart's first great choral opera, Idomeneo, Tōru Takemitsu's Requiem and Schubert’s Symphony No. 5. The program also features composer and piano virtuoso Stephen Hough performing Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No. 4. — DD

UPDATE FROM THE ATLANTA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA WEBSITE:  Our top priority is the safety of our patrons, artists, staff and our community. Therefore, due to recent developments regarding the ongoing pandemic, we regretfully inform you that our Delta Classical concerts scheduled for January 13/15 and January 20/22 will be performed virtually, with no audience. These concerts will be recorded and presented virtually via the Behind the Curtain Series. An email announcement will be sent to all current ticket holders and Behind the Curtain members when the concerts are available for viewing.
