From the venue:
The Creole Food Festival is a celebration of the various culinary traditions around the world that blend French, Spanish, North and West African, Amerindian, Haitian and Portuguese influences and flavors. In Atlanta, attendees will be treated to the American take on Creole Cuisine via two-time James Beard semifinalist and local restauranteur Todd Richards and Gullah Geechee Cultural Bearer BJ Dennis.
Additionally, chefs Akua Atakora, Jude-Pierre Dambreville, and Ayoade Adegboyega will bring forth the international component, representing Ghana, Haiti and Nigeria, respectively.
Guests of the event will sample dishes created specifically for the festival and an opportunity to learn about Creole Cuisine through demonstrations and interactions with the cast of featured chefs.
