CRITIC’S PICK: It’s the Mule Pull ’24 tour — with Kentucky’s latest superstar Childers headlining two nights at this major shed. He has strong supporting acts, too, with June one of Americana’s finest African-American singer/songwriters. Childers is as comfortable with straight-ahead country weepers as with more ornery material and his triple album, Can I Take My Hounds to Heaven, where he plays the same eight songs in three different styles (one with modified hip-hop beats), was a brave experiment that mostly worked. — Hal Horowitz
