Join Senegalese graffiti artist Docta as he creates a new work, which will be displayed in the Greek and Roman galleries of the Carlos Museum before finding a permanent home in the Institute of African Studies. Docta will be working over three days:
Wednesday, November 1
10 a.m. - noon and 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Thursday, November 2
1 - 4 p.m.
Friday, November 3
10 a.m. - noon and 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
This event will be held at Emory’s Visual Arts Building at 700 Peavine Creek Drive. It is co-sponsored by Emory’s Institute of African Studies, the Program in Visual Arts, and the Carlos Museum and is free and open to the public.
