CRITIC’S PICK: There’s nothing quite as manic as a Cowboy Mouth show. These New Orleans based, often tongue-in-cheek, pop rockers have been making the rounds since the mid-90s, cashing in on MTV hit “Jenny Says” which kicked off their career. There haven’t been many other crossover tracks since (their most recent album was a decade ago), but anyone who has seen them live knows to expect a high energy, audience pleasing performance, which is why the reserved seats at this venue sold out nearly a month before the gig. — Hal Horowitz
