Students, are you feeling overwhelmed by upcoming exams? curious about the field of Art Therapy? Join us to learn more about the field, and techniques to de-stress before exams!
Art Therapy is a field that combines Art and Psychology! Art Therapists utilize art as a means to treat a variety of emotional issues and to provide a sense of wellness and healing.
In advance of final exams, join Art Therapist and Spelman alumna, Deanna Barton to learn about the fundamentals of art therapy, then implement some of those principles in a self love painting relaxation session led by artist and AUC Art Collective student, Savannah Woodson.
This event is offered in collaboration with Black Kid Art, an Atlanta-based organization founded by AUC Art Collective student, Alexandra Nelson and managed by Alexandra and fellow AUC students.
