Celebrate Black History Month with the City of College Park at the “Trailblazing in Modern Times” event and inaugural ceremony for Mayor Bianca Motley Broom and council members Jamelle McKenzie and Tracie Arnold. This will be a historic inauguration of the first female majority representation for the City of College Park. Host and two-time Emmy award-winning reporter and anchor for 11 Alive, La'Tasha Givens will lead the community through the 4th annual program honoring heritage and celebrating resilience. The inspirational event will embrace cultural richness with live performances and a special guest speaker, Lt. Rex “R.J.” Willis Jr.

Free parking will be available on the backside of the Gateway Center Campus in the Skylot parking lot, located between the Arena and the Georgia International Convention Center.
