CRITIC’S PICK: Short for Los Angeles League of Musicians, LA LOM is an instrumental trio that plays traditional Latino music mixing the more roots influences of Los Lobos with an atmospheric, reverbed percussive surf noir that’s entrancing and often mesmerizing.
