This is a group for 12-18-year-old trans*people, people questioning their own gender, and aspiring allies. We provide an adult facilitated space to discuss gender, relevant resources, and activism around social issues.  Whether silently or aloud, please come ready to consider your own gender in a transient world. The group meets virtually only on the first Monday of each month and meets in-person on the 3rd Monday of each month at Charis books and More.

This group is facilitated by: 

Mr. Jesse McNulty, Sr., M.Ed., co-founder/co-facilitator of  Trans and Friends, is a 25 year veteran teacher of at-opportunity youth in metro-Atlanta area; elementary, middle, and high school. He holds a Master’s of Education in Special Education- Behavioral Disorders; with add-ons in Interrelated and Gifted. Known as Sir Jesse SJ among progressive communities, he is an advocate for LGBTQQIA+ and queerly situated youth. He is a co-founder of the Georgia Safe Schools Coalition, one of the Feminist Outlawz, and a U.S. Army veteran. SJ identifies as an anti-racist and an aspiring ally striving to be a part of a more beloved community in this transient world!
