As Hog-eyed Man, Jason Cade (fiddle, banjo) and Rob McMaken (lap dulcimer, mandolin) have garnered widespread acclaim for their compelling approach to the archaic fiddle traditions of the Southern Appalachians. Florida-based Paddy League (guitar, bouzouki, bodhran) is a master of both Irish and Greek music. The outstanding clawhammer banjo playing of Michael Starkey (Edinburgh, Scotland) has already begun to make waves on this side of the pond.

This exciting transatlantic collaboration remains centered in the authentic oldtime appalachian music of the pre-radio era while exploring its roots and branches to create new musical conversations.
