CRITIC’S PICK: Dive into the græ area of musical genres with enigmatic and incredibly talented singer-songwriter Moses Sumney. Casual fans of Sumney are likely already familiar with his stirring and thought-provoking debut and sophomore studio albums — “Aromanticism” and “græ,” respectively — but even those unfamiliar with him have likely heard his music through syncs in films like Lena Waithe’s “Queen & Slim” and shows like HBO’s “Euphoria.” Moses Sumney’s music is strategically undefinable and uncategorizable, but regardless of the shape or sound that his work takes up, it’s always inexplicably good. The same can be said about his latest EP, titled “Sophcore.” The short but sweet project features mesmerizing tracks such as “Vintage,” “Whippedlashed,” “Gold Coast,” and “Love’s Refrain,” and his show tomorrow night as Vinyl will be Atlanta’s first chance to hear those songs, among the rest of his catalog, live. The intimate venue serves as the perfect opportunity to get familiar with Moses Sumney’s work, so if you’re down to expand your sonic palette this month, this is the perfect show for you. —Joshua Robinson
