CRITIC’S PICK: Those who miss those wonderful jangle pop days of the early-mid 80s when the dB’s were active, can relive those moments forty years later as the dB’s stage an unexpected yet welcome comeback. It looks like all the original members will be aboard and with the recent reissue/remastering of the quartet’s still fresh sounding 1981 debut Stands for Decibels (likely available at the merch stand), this might be the last time you’ll be able to catch them live. Their first album pre-dated R.E.M. and strongly influenced the Athens band. Don’t miss this ultra-rare and probably short-lived reunion.— Hal Horowitz
