Common and Pete Rock: The Auditorium Tour

CRITIC’S PICK: Common & Pete Rock, Buckhead Theatre — TONIGHT, Common and Pete Rock are taking over the Buckhead Theatre for the most soulful rap offering of September. Earlier this summer, the veteran lyricist and superproducer shared their smooth new joint album, “The Auditorium Vol. 1,” and it was a beautiful collaborative effort that featured guest contributions from Bilal, Jennifer Hudson, PJ, and De La Soul’s Posdnuos. Since then, Common and Pete Rock have been hitting the road for the Auditorium Tour, and Atlanta is the latest city on their 18-date pilgrimage across the country. Common and Pete Rock are both legends in their own right, so this tour is truly a wonderful opportunity for students of the game to cross two of Hip-Hop’s finest off their concert checklists.
