CRITIC’S PICK: Rebecca Frazier, Eddie Owen Presents at the Red Clay Music Foundry —Don’t let Virginia bred bluegrass veteran Frazier’s cover-girl beauty distract from her talent. She flatpicks guitar and banjo like the pro she is and has attracted some of the finest in her genre like Bela Fleck, Sam Bush and Stuart Duncan to assist on her rugged new release Boarding Windows in Paradise. She also writes moving, melodic, original rootsy songs but her frisky yet oddly faithful version of Madonna’s “Borderline” is an album, and likely concert, highlight showing she’s open to experimentation.
