CRITIC’S PICK — Certainly in the running for the most ubiquitous musician in contemporary blues, guitarist/singer/songwriter Bonamassa is a one-man cottage industry. He owns a blues label, produces other up and coming blues and roots musicians, is a member of a number of other bands where he expands his reach into jazz fusion, prog rock and even surf music, and also tours relentlessly. He’s also a new father of twins, an exhausting thought alone. The guitarist usually makes it back to Atlanta once a year with a new set, better visuals and a show that is at the very least crowd pleasing. His newest song, a collaboration with Sammy Hager, is a hard rocking soulful original “Fortune Teller Blues,” so expect that to appear in the set. — Hal Horowitz
