Dave Mason, Center Stage—If Dave Mason wrote nothing other than rock classics “Feelin’ Alright” and “Only You Know and I Know,” he would be an iconic name in the history of the genre. But he’s done much more; first as a founding member of Traffic, then on his own, debuting as a solo artist with 1970s still fresh Alone Together. Along the way he recorded a few tracks with Hendrix, a full album with Mama Cass and notched some adult alternative airplay with the softer “We Just Disagree.” He has been playing smaller venues on previous tours, but after rebounding from health issues, he’s back in this larger room with a tour dubbed Traffic Jam, promoting his recent autobiography and a new all blues album A Shade of Blues. — Hal Horowitz
