The Ain’t Sisters, Danielle Howle Band, Josh Roberts & the Hinges, Terminal West—Atlanta’s Ain’t Sisters’ website describes the twosome and their band as Indigo Girls meets Dream Theatre, so make of that what you will. Frontwomen Arrie Bozeman and Barb Carbon have shifted from a folksy duo to a darker, more prog stance that’s tough, loud and unique. Expect a high energy gig with plenty of intensity and songs from new album, Atomic. It’s good to see singer/songwriter Danielle Howle back performing after years absent from the scene. Opener Roberts rocks out hard too for a full evening of rugged, Southern-edged power punches.— Hal Horowitz
