Café Bleu With The Driptones And Karma Kat
From the venue:
Café Bleu with The Driptones and Karma Kat live at Eddie's Attic!
Come out for an intimate night with the youth of the Atlanta underground music scene! Hailing from the local Atlanta and Athens music scene, Café Bleu (with supporting acts Karma Kat and The Driptones) will be making their debut appearances at Eddie’s Attic!
Atlanta based band Café Bleu is a Sophisti-Pop group showing homage to the styles of indie jazz pop groups from the 80s European post punk era. Drawing inspiration from acts such as Aztec Camera, Prefab Sprout, The Pale Fountains, The Sundays and many more; They are filling an untapped market in the Atlanta DIY underground scene.
Driptones are a funky indie/alt rock band originally from Gainesville, FL, sonically inspired by bands like Spoon, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Flipturn. They grew up playing shows at house parties, festivals, and around town in UF’s college scene. They moved to Atlanta, GA two years ago and have since been staying busy playing festivals like Virginia Highlands Porchfest, Cabbagetown’s Chomp & Stomp, and Stonecrest Fest. They’re super excited for this show and glad to be back at the legendary Eddie’s Attic!
