Rebirth Brass Band, Vinyl—Even though few know, or care, who is actually in the current version of this legendary New Orleans ensemble, you can be assured they’ll bring the rootsy funk of their home city whenever they play. Formed over 40 years ago, they are just behind the Dirty Dozen Brass Band as the foremost purveyors of the horn-heavy, Big Easy sound. “Rebirth Makes You Dance,” is the title of a track from an older album and that effectively sums up their approach.
