Jet, Band of Skulls, Tabernacle: This gritty double bill features UK opening act Band of Skulls who twist their blues around punk roots but are nowhere as demonic/death metallic as their name implies. Australian headliner Jet never followed up their promising thudding 2003 hit “Are You Gonna Be My Girl,” disbanding after a third album in 2012. After reforming in 2017 they have only released one new double-sided single — both songs display Jet’s classic snotty glam guitar rocking sound — with a new album expected in 2025. If you liked ‘em 20 years ago, you’ll like ‘em now. — Hal Horowitz
