Enjoy a respite from the chaos tomorrow night when the Atlanta Philharmonic Orchestra – our town’s LBGTQ+ symphonic orchestra led by Amy Wilson – and Harmonia Atlanta presents “Peace, Love and Song” at Tucker First United Methodist Church.
The joint program will feature French composer Pasul Dukas’ ‘Fanfare; a new arrangement of ‘Lift Ev’ry Voice and Sing’ a/k/a the Black National Anthem by Atlanta Symphony Orchestra bassist Michael Kurth; ‘Finlandia’ by Jean Sibelius; Ilyich Tchaikovsky’a ‘Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture’; and ‘Dona Nobis Pacem’ by Ralph Vaughan Williams.
