Town Mountain, Riverside Park—This year’s monthly free shows under the heading of Riverside Sounds returns for a shortened season at Roswell’s Riverside Park. The initial offering is from Ashville’s acclaimed Town Mountain, a string band with drums, who incorporates country, bluegrass and even rock influences into a rustic, down-home approach. Their albums routinely notch in the Top Ten of the Bluegrass charts and a recent EP has them covering the Rolling Stones, Dire Straits and the Kinks to striking effect.
