Event Description

The Smokeshows are a hell on heels rock and roll act based in Nashville TN. Grounded by the blues, glam, and theatre, founding members Ash Nolan (vocals) and Brendan Krieg (guitar) with the help of Landon Matheny (bass) and Audrey Tess (drums) have created a live experience that is all their own. Tyler Lee Frush is a storyteller. His songwriting and electric live performances, while deeply personal, resonate with familiarity, vulnerability and emotion. When you listen to his music, you can almost see the scenes he is conjuring. His influences span a wide gamut – from Eddie Van Halen to Johnny Cash – and he has often been compared to modern folk / indie rock acts like Kings of Leon, The Black Keys, Wilco and Dawes.
