Nelly & Ja Rule, Lakewood Amphitheatre — The summer is almost over, and summer in Atlanta is not complete without hitting up a concert at Lakewood Amphitheatre. Longtime hip-hop fans who haven’t made that trip yet are in for a real treat because two rap legends have teamed up for an iconic end-of-summer tour that is heading to Lakewood on Friday, September 12. Veteran hip-hop acts Nelly and Ja Rule have joined forces for the “Where The Party At” Tour, a stacked tour with a name that pays homage to Nelly’s 2001 hit alongside Jagged Edge.
