In Concert With Hope

Atlanta Freedom Bands’ Concert Band concludes its 20th anniversary season with music that will uplift the spirit and soothe the soul.  “In Concert with Hope” will explore the dimensions and power of hope in our lives.  The concert program features stirring pieces like “Jupiter” from The Planets by Gustav Holst, soulful selections from Aretha Franklin and Louis Armstrong, songs that inspire, and works that call us to choose joy and hope for the future.

AFB’s Artistic Staff have assembled a program with music that is joyful and solemn, courageous and powerful, inspiring and just plain fun.  Our musicians hope everyone enjoys this escape and leaves feeling uplifted.  AFB will welcome guest conductor Laura Estes to the podium for the concert.
