Event Description

Formed at the beginning of the post-pandemic social boom, Memphis psychedelic rock outfit Jombi are students of music and lifelong friends further bonded by a drive to create a sound that is uniquely theirs. The band is renowned for their influences of contrasting genres such as modern psychedelia, 70s progressive/experimental rock, folk rock-driven americana, and second wave midwestern emo. It’s never quite known where Jombi is taking you during a song or an album, and that’s exactly what they want.
In April 2021, founding members Bry Hart and Caleb Crouch introduced two of their fellow musicians Sam Wallace and Auden Brummer to their weekly garage jam sessions, simply held to keep their chops up during the social drought. In short work it seemed they were playing local Memphis stages every weekend. Since then, their expansive, experimental, and ever-developing sound has garnered a dedicated following in the southeast region.
