OkCello: LIVE (First show)

On June 28, Atlanta Contemporary will present "OkCello: LIVE", featuring two dynamic and immersive musical experiences by acclaimed cellist Okorie Johnson.

4 pm - OkCello presents… The Offering

The Offering is a fully improvised, concert experience, designed as a gift of sound and intention for the audience. The experience consists of four acts in close succession:
I. Improvisation/Meditation.
II. Offering.
III. Co-Creation
IV. Living Sound. The audience will enjoy an intensely intimate and memorable experience where their presence helps shape the show! 

7:30pm - OkCello Live

OkCello presents an after-hours musical experience at Atlanta Contemporary, featuring an intimate concert experience of new and classic works as part of his ever-expanding sonic landscape. Okorie “OkCello” Johnson, an Atlanta-based cellist-composer, looper, improviser, and storyteller, has been featured on the Tamron Hall Show, has been a recipient of the The Kennedy Center Office Hours Artist Residency, and was accepted as a sound installation artist for the Democratic Republic of Congo’s 2022 Biennale.
