Josh Turner at Woodstock Summer Concert Series

CRITIC’S PICK:
Sat., July 12
Josh Turner, Woodstock Summer Concert Series — Country singer/songwriter Turner may not be in the top tier of artists in his genre, but he has released 10 solid albums in a career that stretches back to 2003. He’s had a handful of hits (“Long Black Train” and “Your Man” both notched at #1 on the country charts) and even a few GRAMMY nominations. Turner identifies as a Christian artist and has recorded an album of gospel covers, but generally sticks to a secular menu of rocking twang. His sense of humor is evident in his 2024 album, That Country Music Thing, which includes the tracks “Two Steppin’ on the Moon” and “Down in Georgia.” The latter will surely get the crowd riled up during this free gig. — Hal Horowitz
From the venue:
The third concert on July 12, is a multi-platinum-selling artist and Grammy nominee. His deep, soulful voice is sure to have you asking “Your Man”, “Would You Go With Me?” and “Why Don’t We Just Dance?” If we’re lucky, maybe a “Long Black Train” will come through Woodstock during the show!Josh Turner at Woodstock Summer Concert Serie... | 07/12/2025 7:30 PM
