What: The 18th Annual Poetry Slam + R&B Brunch.
Where: The Starling Atlanta Midtown, Curio Collection by Hilton.
When: Sunday, August 31, 2025, from 12:00 to 3:30 p.m. EDT.
Activities:
- Poetry Slam: A competition featuring 10 poets, with a $500 prize for the winner, decided by the audience.
- Live Music: R&B vibes from a live band and music by DJ Exel.
- Brunch: Food will be served for attendees.
Purpose: In addition to entertainment, the event is part of a larger push by organizers to promote mental health and wellness within the Black LGBTQ community.
