Students will join this merry cast of characters on 45-minute adventure as romance blossoms, loyalty is put to the test, and mistakes are forgiven. This season’s Atlanta Opera STUDIO TOUR brings to life Gilbert and Sullivan’s most popular operettas, THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, in a special abridged version for students! Frederic, apprenticed to a band of tender-hearted pirates, leaves his pirate cohorts to find love on his 21st birthday. He falls instantly in love with Mabel, the daughter of a modern Major General. However, their love is tested with some comical twists and turns. Students will join this merry cast of characters on 45-minute adventure as romance blossoms, loyalty is put to the test, and mistakes are forgiven.
