To promote the university’s strategic goals to build learning environments where students thrive and emphasize the innovative research being conducted across KSU, the University Libraries will be hosting a Scholar Spotlight Series this fall to connect the university community with its research efforts. This three-part series is focused on highlighting faculty research, its dissemination, and its intersection with student learning. The first spotlight will highlight KSU History Professor and Coordinator of the Public History Program, Dr. Jennifer Dickey. Dr. Dickey will discuss her new book, "There's Lots to See in Georgia: A Guide to Georgia's State HIstoric Sites," done in collaboration with eleven students from her Fall 2022 research seminar.

Bring your lunch and hear Dr. Dickey discuss how this project came together, her research methods, and how she worked with students to create this comprehensive guide all sixteen historic sites owned and operated by the state of Georgia. No registration necessary.
