Thomas Deans Fine Art is pleased to present Rooted in Nature, an exhibition of paintings and sculptures by Lauren Betty, Eileen Braun, Christine Kosiba, Tracey Lane, and Elise Thomason. The exhibition brings together five distinctive artistic voices whose work reflects the strength, poetry, complexity, and enduring presence of the natural world. The works in Rooted in Nature offer diverse perspectives: shifting planes of landscape, luminous impressions of forests, animals that inhabit the land, the delicate unfolding of leaves, and branches transformed into sculptural form. Though varied in medium and approach, the artists share a foundational regard for organic structure. They balance abstraction and representation, evoking not only what we see in nature, but also what we feel standing within it—expansive, intimate, and endlessly layered.
