From the venue:

New Angles on Human Rights is an annual conversation series examining issues that intersect with Human Rights but are not often viewed through that lens. This year’s topic is the issue of access to clean water. We are excited to welcome Dr. Hanna, a pediatrician, scientist, activist and author recognized by Time magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World for her work in uncovering the Flint water crisis.

The panel will be moderated by Dr. Lelani Mannetti, a conservation ecologist and professor at GSU’s Andrew Young School of Policy Studies. Panelists include John Dwyer, President and CEO of KEMRON Environmental Services; Dr. Mona Hanna; Monica Iyer, J.D., GSU Assistant Professor of Law specializing in the intersection of climate change, the environment and human rights; and Dr. Rachel Scarlett, GSU Professor in the College of Arts & Sciences specializing in water sciences and environmental justice.
