Join us for a special presentation by Dr. Luigina Orlandi of the Vatican Library, who will share images and insights to explore the formation of the Vatican Library and its rich collection of Greek manuscripts.
This event offers a unique opportunity to learn about one of the world’s most historic libraries from a scholar deeply engaged in its collections and legacy.
Dr. Luigina Orlandi recently retired after 34 years at the Vatican Apostolic Library, where she most recently served as Director of Institutional Advancement. Her career has spanned roles in cataloguing, administration, and reference services, including over a decade as Director of the Cataloguing Section. She holds degrees in Germanic Philology, Librarianship, and Ancient Book Management, and continues to collaborate with the Library on archival projects.
