2nd Annual Mighty 6 Cleared for Takeoff Domestic Violence Awareness 5K Dog Adoption Event

Commissioner Khadijah Abdur-Rahman is lacing up her sneakers to join residents for the 2nd Annual Mighty 6 Cleared for Takeoff Domestic Violence Awareness 5K. The race, which kicks off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025, will be held at the Fulton County Executive Airport located at 3977 Aviation Cir NW, Atlanta, GA 30336.

This year, through the Commissioner’s partnership with LifeLine, participants qualify for pet adoption at the discounted rate of $25.00. For more information visit https://lifelineanimal.org/adopt/.

Free food will be available once the racers hit the finish line. Followed by an awards ceremony and pet adoption event, scheduled for 11:30 a.m. All racers will have access to onsite community resource partners after the 5K.
