Parker McCollum, Vincent Mason, Jackson Wendall, Ameris Bank Amphitheatre - Heartland rocker McCollum is typically thrown into the country genre, but his ringing songs like "To Be Loved By You" and "Pretty Heart," both top charting singles, and the more recent "What Kinda Man" find him reaching for the back rows in the sheds he now plays. He has a knack for crafting sturdy hooks that maintain his good ole' boy status while cranking up the rock 'n' roll guitars and adding just enough twang to plant him on commercial country radio while staying edgy with a song titled "Watch Me Bleed." And he has the good taste to resurrect a credible version of "Good Time Charlie's Got the Blues." - Hal Horowitz
