Mt. Joy, Synovus Bank at Chastain Park - The first show of this season is dubbed Hope We Have Fun Tour. That sounds a little wishy-washy from a band with joy in their name, but it's also the title of Mt. Joy's recent album. Philadelphia's folk/pop/jazzy quintet has only been active since 2018 but attracted a dedicated audience based on their melodic songs, earthy, authentic approach and frontman Matt Quinn's lived-in voice. Their most streamed titles like "Silver Lining," ride on a Lumineers stomping pop/rock vibe but later albums find them expanding into more eclectic waters. Their latest returns to a rural folk sound that may need an energized boost to fill this larger amphitheater. - Hal Horowitz
