Gogol Bordello, Boris and the Joy, Puzzled Panther, Buckhead Theater - Bordello's Eugene Hutz is the undisputed king of gypsy punk, holding that throne for the past 20+ years. The frontman is from Ukraine which injects even more political intensity to music that already takes the frantic energy of The Clash and The Pogues and raises it a few notches, touching on garage rock, bits of reggae and even surf. The new album, We Mean It Man, released last month, mirrors its intent in the title. The music continues to land sonic punches, which has audiences slam dancing from the outset, so be prepared for combat. Intense doesn't even begin to describe the show. - Hal Horowitz
