DocturDot, Vinyl at Center Stage - Since their signing to J. Cole's Dreamville imprint in 2017, EarthGang has proudly carried on the tradition of iconic Atlanta rap duos by releasing a string of ambitious and high-quality albums, from 2019's "Mirrorland" to 2024's "PERFECT FANTASY." Halfway through this decade, however, the duo is starting to split off and also release music as solo acts. Last year, DocturDot was first up, with his debut solo album - titled "Howl at da Moon" - arriving back in October. To celebrate its early success, Dot is performing his latest work live, and local talents Troop and Marco Plus are also set to take the stage. Pull up to Vinyl on February 20 for one of Hip-Hop's strongest local showcases. - joshua robinson SoFayGo, The Loft at Center Stage - Center Stage's Atlantafest continues on Friday, February 20, with SoFayGo. Following the success of his 2022 breakout project, "Pink Heartz" and its 2023 followup "GO+," the Atlanta native and promising Cactus Jack signee made the unexpected decision to fall back from the limelight for a couple of years. Last year, SoFayGo returned triumphantly with emphatic contributions to his label head Travis Scott's collaborative label album, "JACKBOYS 2," and, he capped off the year with a strong full-length project of his own, "MANIA." Months later, the young rap star is bringing The MANIA Tour to The Loft for what is sure to be a high-octane affair. - joshua robinson
