Author J.D. Myall in conversation with author Connie Morrison
From the venue:
Georgia author and library professional J.D. Myall is launching a time-travel fantasy romance that brings Black history to life through eras like 1920s New Orleans and 1940s Harlem — and she’s celebrating with a run of fun public bookstore events that are already drawing teen readers, families, and the local writing community.
There’s also a meaningful Atlanta connection: her grandfather stood alongside Coretta Scott King when the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday was declared national, making this Black History Month launch especially personal.
