Georgia250 Author Talk: Greg Brooking, author of "From Empire to Revolution: Sir James Wright and the Price of Loyalty in Georgia"

To commemorate America’s 250th anniversary, the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation is launching Georgia250: Celebrating America’s Last Colony, a yearlong program designed to showcase historic buildings and sites associated with Georgia’s colonial and Revolutionary War past through a series of videos, author events and digital resources.

Georgia250 will include a 13‑part video series released throughout the year; author talks with distinguished historians and scholars whose books illuminate Georgia’s colonial and Revolutionary War era; expanded storytelling across social media; and a virtual Ramble guide with an accompanying interactive map highlighting the state’s earliest landmarks, from house museums and private residences to churches, cemeteries, battlefields, and forts.
