Tommy Castro and the Painkillers, Eddie's Attic - Three decades into his career as a guitar slinging soul bluesman, Castro and his band aren't slowing down. Even if he wasn't a sly, powerful guitarist and imaginative songwriter (his 2021 release is one of the blues genres only concept albums), he's a major artist based on his tough vocals. Listen for music from last year's Closer to the Bone, another fine entry into a bulging catalog with no weak titles.
