For this release, Capps revisits 16 long-lost folk songs and traditionals made famous by artists like Doc Watson, Jerry Jeff Walker, Randy Newman, Gordon Lightfoot, and Leonard Cohen. Introduced to these songs by his father at a young age, they helped shape Capps’ deep love of music and the Southern Gothic sensibility that defines his songwriting today.
