Drawing core inspiration from bands like Alice in Chains, Deftones, and Chevelle, the band is composed of drummer Jack Overstreet,lead vocalist Walker Smith, bassist Ethan Powell,and guitar player Aubrey Dean.In 2025 greywater began work on debut EP “Jamerson Road Demos” - an experimental project touching a variety of genres. The EP was initially released as a series of singles,and accumulated over 20k streams over the year. Their sound is notable for a plethora of heavy guitar riffs weaving through rhythms with driving drums and intricate bass lines, all topped by powerhouse vocals and melancholy storytelling."There's a lot going on in our sound, but we keep the essence of the project cohesive," explains Kellie (vocalist/guitarist). "We have broad influences between the three of us, and you can definitely tell that there's an old school feel to what we're writing, but by combining all of these styles and adding in that vulnerable aggression provided by the lyrics, we're looking to create something a little different for modern ears."
