PHOENIX FLIES 2026 | A Cathedral for the City for 100 YearsByThe Atlanta Preservation Center Follow1580 Peachtree St NEAtlanta, GAWednesday, Mar 25 from 1 pm to 3 pmOverviewPeachtree Christian Church, a Gothic Revival landmark, features stunning stained glass and rich acoustics at Atlanta’s historic crossroads.Peachtree Christian Church, established in 1925, stands at Peachtree and Spring streets, historically known as “the Crossroads of Atlanta.” Modeled after Melrose Abbey in Scotland, the beautiful Gothic Revival-style sanctuary was designed by Charles H. Hopson and dedicated in 1928 as a “cathedral for the City of Atlanta.” The sanctuary’s windows, made by Mr. William Glasby of London, England, are one of the country’s finest collections of stained glass telling the story of Christ.
