Breezefest, Northside Tavern - This annual two-day tribute and benefit show, named after the late Carlos Capote's moniker and band The Breeze Kings, presents most of the city's best blues, soul and R&B outfits squeezed into a few long-- very long--shows. The names of the already announced two dozen and counting participants is too long to list here, but regardless of when you swing into Atlanta's longest running dive bar, you'll leave with a smile and a new favorite to see again. Your admission helps blues musicians in times of need too. It's a win-win all around. - Hal Horowitz
