Paula Poundstone, Buckhead Theatre - Comedian, author, actor, interviewer and commentator Paula Poundstone is known for never doing the same gig twice and for actively engaging with her audience. Nick Zaino of the 'Boston Globe' writes that her crowd work has always been unusual, adding, "Her natural disposition, curious and ever-perplexed, allows Poundstone to aggressively question audience members without ever seeming threatening." Discovered by Robin Williams in 1984, Poundstone has toured ever since and appears regularly on NPR's news quiz 'Wait, Wait... Don't Tell Me,' invariably getting more laughs than her fellow guests.
