In this edition of Business x Design, legendary creative director D.L. Warfield joins acclaimed author and cultural critic Dr. Regina N. Bradley for a conversation about album art, cultural identity, and the art of building a brand.

Among other things, Warfield is known for being the Creative Director and visionary the iconic cover of Outkast’s ATLiens, a project that helped define not only a sound, but a vision of Atlanta as futuristic, Southern, and unapologetically original. Over the course of his career, he has shaped the visual identities of artists including Goodie Mob, Jeezy, Killer Mike, Usher, T.I., and P!NK — translating music into imagery that carries narrative, attitude, and cultural weight.
