The Beach Boys, Cobb Energy Center - All the Wilson brothers have passed and Al Jardine and Bruce Johnston are no longer aboard, so the 85 year old Mike Love, with an identifiable connection to the band's name, remains the only original Beach Boy left to carry on the legacy. This tour is titled "Saluting 60 Years of Pet Sounds" as Love and a bunch of talented backing players reproduce most of that legendary album, then fill the rest of the show with a laundry list of sing-along hits. It'll probably sound fine, but calling this the Beach Boys is at best an exaggeration and at worst a cash-generating exercise for a solid cover band with one link to the historically important version. But it might also be the last time you get to see even one Beach Boy running down these songs for the umpteenth time, so there is that. - Hal Horowitz
