Mumford & Sons, Medium Build, State Farm Arena - There aren't many Americana-styled acts that sell out Madison Square Garden for three nights, let alone ones from the UK. But Mumford & Sons have built a formidable base over their 17 year run. And those fans have only increased as the band released a pair of fine albums in the past two years after taking a seven-year break. Their "stomp/clap" approach remains in effect for the recent Prizefighter, which will be featured on this gig. But Mumford has so many crowd-pleasing hits, making this an audience-friendly show that might even get a little rowdy. Opener Medium Build has his own clutch of frolicking roots tunes and will be previewing some new ones from a forthcoming album, King of Having Fun. - Hal Horowitz
